Flick is a simple game that is surprisingly addictive. It relies on good reflexes, short-term memory and observation skills.

The basic idea is to flick the object that appears in the centre of the screen in the correct direction. For each object you get right, you earn 1 point; for each object you get wrong, you lose 1 point. Simple. But how do you know which way to flick it? Each direction (left, right, up, down) is associated with a category, and the object needs to be flicked towards the category it fits. An object only stays on the screen for a limited time, so speed is critical!

Game Styles

There are two styles available: Flick Basic and Flick Shuffle. In Flick Basic, the categories that are selected at random at the start of the game remain the same throughout, though their positions may change. Flick Shuffle adds an extra dimension to game play, by regularly changing not only the positions of the categories, but also the categories themselves.

Game Modes

You can play both Flick Basic and Flick Shuffle in one of two ways. Timed mode gives you 60 seconds to score as many points as you can. Flick quickly, but be careful; a wrong answer reduces your score! Sudden Death mode adds more of a challenge. There is no time limit, but the catch is you have to be correct every time! As soon as you flick one shape the wrong way, its Game Over.

Difficulties

You can play both Flick Basic and Flick Shuffle in Timed or Sudden Death mode at any of 3 difficulties. This caters for all levels of player, and all ages; its a great way to keep kids entertained! The difficulty you select determines not only the categories used in the game, but also how often they change.
